Week 12 The Big Sleep or Wait or. . .

Week 11 and moving closer. . .
So the movie I was involved in last summer for is making waves. HP will screen it for us soon. It's a couch-jumper I AM A GHOST. Catch it March 8 - info at http://caamedia.org/festival/. I'm getting the impression folks hesitate asking me to do stuff 'cause I must be writing. Well, I am. Sometimes it just helps to get away from the computer and out of my head and out of my own scenarios and keep the brain matter synapsing. HP and I emailed for years before actually meeting--ships in the night. Fri. I saw NEW FIRE at Brava - quite mesmerizing, timely, a reminder to look inward.  On Sat., I met up with some lady friends for breakfast and then cleared my afternoon calendar to continue our meeting and ended up catching GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO. I'd seem the Swedish version (their films don't have the warning and $250k fine mentioned in them, btw). I'd spent the next few days trying to hook up with someone to return keys; we finally met Thurs. and discussed his newest draft over my coconut lemon cake and his chocolate cake. Interesting, a mom figure who, to the person who's the model for her, will probably deny that -- like my mom -- that character is at ALL like her. . . MLK Day was "cleansing" - in, out, fore, aft, and in prep for taxes...gawd. It puts me in such a mood: I went shopping. And of course, I'll return what I bought tomorrow. Taxing my grey matter, taxes... So the rains have started, and out here, haven't quite stopped. It means barricading the door with towels with the sleeting rain pushing under and around the door. Cats have to tiptoe around the 'lake' in the morning to their boxes. This year so far has been waiting, waiting, now for 3 things...
